SCHEDULE (subject to change)

The live big band swing jazz music of the Jazz Consortium Big Band can be experienced in the Chicago area and suburbs at these performances (schedule subject to change):

The Jazz Consortium Big Band returns to Nellie’s!  (It's NOT Durty Nellie's anymore BTW--  6-9pm like before. Possibly playing outside to celebrate our 10TH ANNIVERSARY of playing there.

The caveats are:

•  The venue capacity not being a problem with Health Dept. guidances.

•  Masks to be worn except while eating or drinking.

•  No spike in virus cases, etc. that would cause going back to stricter limitations.

"I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the show last night!  I am so glad you were at FitzGerald's ...You guys deserve a standing O for every song..."

--Virginia D.

"Man, what a cool time last night... The Jazz Consortium really puts out a tight wall of sound! Favorites of the night-- Grape Jelly; Mercy, Mercy!; Sing, Sing, Sing; ...and my Absolute Favorite...Fanfare for the Common Man..." --Kurt M.

“The JCBB did a great rendition of ‘In the Mood’!  There's a little too much snobbery against classics like that one!  And when people hear bands like the JCBB play those classics, they'll truly understand why they became classics in the first place!  Keep up the good work!"

--Chicagoland Big Band Jazz Society

"Went to see an absolutely superb performance by The Jazz Consortium @ Durty Nellie's this eve. ...My compliments to you and everyone in the group!!  A wonderful mix of great talent & composers!!" --Ariel S.

"You guys are great. I was finally able to catch one set a few weeks ago, and you guys were on fire. Great job!" --Barb R.

"Just had the most wonderful evening listening to Roy Vombrack lead the Big Band Jazz Consortium tonight!  Truly Sensational!...I tell you that this band is hot hot hot!...I look forward to when I get to see them play again!"

--Kat D.

"These guys are legit." --Katie K.
