September is Classical Music Appreciation Month, so the Jazz Consortium Big Band once again pays tribute to Classical themes that have crossed over to the Big Bands, plus our usual eclectic mix of Swing & Jazz-Rock faves. Mundelein High School Jazz Ensemble returns as our special guest at 6pm, followed by us at 6:30. Open to all ages. Cash cover commences at 6:30--$10 adults, $5 17 & under with student ID. Bring a canned or non-perishable food item for donation to the Palatine Township Food Pantry and enjoy the best Big Band variety anywhere. The Jazz Consortium Big Band will be featuring lots of jazzed-up holiday favorites at Durty Nellie’s. And, the Schaumburg High School Jazz Ensemble will be opening for us again! Schaumburg's band is at 6:00, with us to follow at 6:30.
